Paythrone claims itself to be specialized in complex merchants. That’s a nice description of high-risk merchants and illegal businesses. On the website, you search in vain for a legal entity or individuals behind the payment processor. On the other hand, the website claims that BridgerPay (profile) or Praxis Cashier (profile) are partners.

Paythrone seems to be a Ukrainian payment processor. On the web, job offers can be found on Ukrainian sites in Ukrainian. It seems to be a payment gateway provider that also offers its solution as a white label. It is said that the crypto trading platform StormGain works or has worked with the Paythrone gateway (see this review on Medium).

We have discovered Paythrone as a payment processor in both Optimus Markets and Spintop Capital scams. Due to the lack of legal data and its scam facilitation, we put Paythrone on our “Red Compliance Light” list.
